During the COVID lockdown, we turned to self-exploration projects to cope with the confinement. Being indoors made us long for nature and the freedom to explore, especially places like our hometowns and Naoshima, which we deeply missed. Before the lockdown, we had visited Naoshima and planned to explore Teshima next, unaware of what 2020 would bring. To fill the void left by the absence of travel and nature, we immersed ourselves in creating dreamscapes to stay grounded and inspired.
