Our submission for One Minute Projection Mapping Competition 2026 at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Seeing our work projected on this unique site has been an incredible opportunity. Having an art project like this has long been on our wish list.

MONOLITH SIGNAL

This year the theme is 'Dialogue'. It is often viewed as a conversation between two people, but in its purest form it is a search for a response. We are seeing this unique building as a colossal ping tower. By using the building's twin-tower architecture as a massive inter-dimensional antenna and instrument, this works explores the ultimate dialogue: the one between humanity and the vast, silent layers of the universe of the other dimension.

Ping is our signal of existence, and the echo is the answer. A query sent into the dark, and the anticipation of a return.
